Challenge:
To develop a cover to convey
the book’s theme: that a series
of photographs can translate
into the visual equivalent of
a multi-part symphony.
Solution:
An unexpected palette of chartreuse and gray adds richness to the sepia images. This cover idea was presented; however, the author preferred his own title, “Orchestrating Icons.”
